1.  Using a paintbrush, paint the flower pot with acrylic paint in the color(s) of your choice. Also, paint the top and inside of the flower pot.

You can paint the flower pot in one color, several colors, paint designs and patterns, or use stencils. You can also add embellishments of your choice, such as glitter, beads, ribbons, buttons, etc.

2.  After you are finished painting it, set it aside to let dry.
3.  Have an adult cut the floral foam to fit inside the flower pot. When cutting, be sure to leave enough room to place the green moss on top.
4.  Once the paint on the flower pot is dry, place the floral foam inside and set aside.
5.  Glue a clothespin to two of the dowels and let dry.
6.  Glue an artificial flower to the third dowel and let dry.
7.  When the glue is dried, insert all three dowels into the floral foam.
8.  Using a paintbrush, paint the dowels and clothespins with acrylic paint in the color(s) of your choice and let dry.
9.  Once dry, place green moss on top of the floral foam, tucking it into the sides of the flower pot to cover any open areas.
